Overview

The 2022 SCECA-SECA Regional Conference seeks to meet the professional development needs of the early care providers and early childhood teachers in South Carolina and all of the southeastern states.

This conference will be a HYBRID CONFERENCE. That means some of will attend in person and some of will attend virtually.

The theme of this year’s conference is Big Learning, Bigger Fun! Building a Foundation for the Future.

Why Attend

The three-day conference has speakers covering various topics. The first day has seminars by two prominent speakers, which focuses on the methods teachers need to adopt to engage little learners.

On the second day, the seminar has an international speaker who has years of diverse experiences in the field of early childhood.

The last day of the conference will host another internationally-renowned speaker, who is a licensed clinical social worker, and advocate for youth.

Also, at the conclusion of the conference, attendees will get credit hours if they register for the conference and attend each session.

Why Exhibit

Exhibitors get an opportunity to showcase their best and newest educational materials to attendees.

For exhibitors interested in displaying their materials, each booth space measures 8’ x 10’ and costs $350.00.

Organizer

The South Carolina Early Childhood Association (SCECA) is a non-profit, tax exempt, self-supporting organization drawing its members from the ranks of individuals who are working with or concerned with the best interests and welfare of young children in South Carolina. SCECA is affiliated with the Southern Early Childhood Association (SECA), a regional organization representing the following fourteen (14) southern states.

The mission of the SCECA is to enhance knowledge; advance evidence based practices, and provide leadership to increase public understanding and support for policy that results in high quality early care and education for every child from birth to age eight in South Carolina.

The SCECA also gives different awards like the Kevin Swick Family & School Community Partnership Award, Mentoring Award, Early Childhood Grant, Conference Scholarships, Education Scholarship, Student Group Start up Grant, Student Group Travel Grant, and Honorary Awards.
