The Global Awards Ceremony honors the people, programs, and institutions making significant contributions to the field of academic advising. The Art Experience will include both a Juried Art Exhibition and multiple Art Tours.

An estimated 3,000-3,500 advising professionals representing higher education institutions from all over the world will be attending the conference. For exhibitors, the conference is an ideal opportunity to showcase their products and services to the most influential audience in academic advising.

Faculty advisors, academic advisors, administrators, and other key decision makers attend the Annual Conference not only for professional development, but to buy products ranging from instructional software to student service resources. The National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) is an association of 12,000 professional advisors, counselors, faculty, administrators, and students working to enhance the educational development of students. NACADA promotes and supports quality academic advising in institutions of higher education to enhance the educational development of students.

NACADA provides a forum for discussion, debate, and the exchange of ideas pertaining to academic advising through numerous activities and publications. NACADA also serves as an advocate for effective academic advising by providing a Consulting and Speaker Service, an Awards Program, and funding for Research related to academic advising.
