Why Attend
Overview
The International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare is the world's premier healthcare simulation education learning event.
Why Attend – 2023
The show is a scientific conference that explores the latest innovations and best practices in healthcare simulation. It provides the tools and resources healthcare professionals need to advance their skills, impact change in delivery systems and practice, and, ultimately, to improve patient safety.
In addition, the event offers hundreds of industry-leading presentations. Also, participants will be able to earn continuing education credits.
Attendees will be able to connect ‘face-to-face’ with 3,000+ healthcare simulation professionals, learn and experience how healthcare simulation is used to improve patient care and safety, gain insight into trends and influence national discussion and evolution of healthcare simulation, and understand first-hand how healthcare simulation impacts their colleagues and patients every day.
In the Exhibit Hall, attendees will meet vendors with products and services they use or may be evaluating for future use.
Also, the show will feature the SSH Research Summit as the preconference event. The two-day event will feature groundbreaking research regarding guidelines in healthcare simulation.
Why Exhibit – 2023
At the largest healthcare simulation conference in the world, exhibitors will get a chance to demonstrate their products and services to a target audience.
The show is one of the most comprehensive opportunities for healthcare simulation administrators, operations specialists, educators, clinicians, researchers, and others who work for hospitals, colleges/universities, government, and simulation centers worldwide, to interact.
Organizer
The Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) seeks to improve performance and reduce errors in patient care through the use of simulation.
Established in 2004 by professionals using simulation for education, testing, and research in health care, SSH membership includes physicians, nurses, allied health and paramedical personnel, researchers, educators and developers from around the globe.
SSH fosters the improvement and application of simulation–based modalities such as human patient simulators, virtual reality, standardized patients and task trainers.
