CTRC-AACR San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium 2022 (SABCS)
The San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium is the premier event for researchers, health professionals, and those with a special interest in breast cancer.
Why Attend – 2022
The Symposium is designed to provide state-of-the-art information on the experimental biology, etiology, prevention, diagnosis, and therapy of breast cancer and premalignant breast disease, to an international audience of academic and private physicians and researchers.
The scientific program consists of formal lectures by experts in clinical and basic research, selected slide and poster presentations, forums and case discussions.
Most of the presentations at the Symposium focus on the latest clinical and basic research results relating to breast cancer. By contrast, educational sessions are designed to inform and update those interested in a review on a particular topic. Although these sessions may include new specific research findings, their primary intent is to offer summaries of existing knowledge, and to provide background for some of the active areas which will be discussed in the rest of the meeting.
The Symposium provides a forum for interaction, communication, and education for a broad spectrum of researchers, health professionals, patient advocates and others with a special interest in breast cancer.
Why Exhibit – 2022
Exhibitors will get an opportunity to interact and communicate directly with leading decision makers and other medical professionals specializing in breast cancer research and treatment from around the world.
The Symposium attracts thought-leaders, academic and private physicians and researchers, as well as other health care professionals focused on curing breast cancer.
The San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) is presented by the UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center and the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR).
The Mays Cancer Center, home to UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center, is San Antonio and South Texas’ only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated Cancer Center. The Mays Cancer Center has been serving San Antonio and South Texas since 1974 and has been an NCI-designated Cancer Center since 1991.
The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) is the first and largest cancer research organization dedicated to accelerating the conquest of cancer.
Through its programs and services, the AACR fosters research in cancer and related biomedical science; accelerates the dissemination of new research findings among scientists and others dedicated to the conquest of cancer; promotes science education and training; and advances the understanding of cancer etiology, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment throughout the world.
