The CCME Professional Development Symposium is an event designed for professional military educators.

Why Attend – 2023

The symposium provides a forum for discussions concerning the rising cost of education within constrained military budgets, the increasing reliance on outsourcing and contracting in the education services community, and the resulting serious implications on the services and institutions, and, ultimately, on the military student.

The annual symposium fosters networking and interaction among key leadership across organizations in a collaborative environment focused on enhancing and optimizing voluntary education opportunities for servicemembers, veterans, and their families.

Why Exhibit – 2023

Exhibitors will get an opportunity to showcase their products and services to a target audience. The Symposium generates the largest forum of its kind with an attendance of approximately 1,000 participants.

Organizer

The Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) is the only national organization for professional military educators. CCME was founded in 1972 to promote, encourage, and deliver quality education to all branches of the armed services. It accomplishes this mission through education, communication and legislative advocacy.

CCME’s membership is composed of military & civilian educators, post -secondary educational institutions, suppliers of education products / services, service members & veterans, and governmental organizations that support military and veteran education. CCME facilitates communication between the membership and the US Department of Defense educational support network.
