The AMS Annual Meeting is the world’s largest yearly gathering for the weather, water, and climate community. It’s all about weather fun!
Make plans to join us for WeatherFest, a FREE fun and fascinating look at all things weather. Open to weather enthusiasts of all ages, this annual weather fair is one of the most popular events at the AMS Annual Meeting. Parents, teachers, kids, youth groups, and others are invited to spend the afternoon learning about the weather, participating in fun activities, and even giving a weather forecast in front of a real green screen! The day will include local broadcast meteorologists and other surprise guests!

WeatherFest Exhibitors

The AMS is accepting WeatherFest Exhibitor applications on a first-come, first serve basis, until all space is filled. We love to have hands-on,interactive experiments and booths by teachers and scientists from government, university, television, radio and private industry. The booth space is free of charge for all exhibitors. All you need to do is staff your booth with enthusiastic persons that can capture the imagination of children of all ages!

Our more than 13,000 members include scientists, researchers, educators, broadcast meteorologists, students, weather enthusiasts, and other professionals in the fields of weather, water, and climate.

AMS is a 501(c)3 non-profit membership organization, headquartered in the historic Harrison Gray Otis House in Boston’s Beacon Hill neighborhood. We also have an office in Washington, DC, where we run our education and policy programs.
