The American Society of Breast Surgeons Annual Meeting is an event dedicated to the issues affecting surgeons who treat breast disease.

Why Attend – 2022

In the General Session, in the keynote address, attendees get to hear on the innovative breast cancer treatment methods.

Other topics in discussion would be the ethics of delaying surgery, screening delays, impact of COVID-19 on timing of multigene assays, and the same day mastectomy.

Furthermore, the Surgical Innovation Forum will feature topics such as inflammatory breast cancer, the role for surgery after neoadjuvant care, surgery for stage IV disease, and supraclavicular and contralateral axillary disease management.

Pre-Meeting Courses feature both beginner and intermediate level oncoplastic skills courses, including cadaver labs.

The general session and pre-meeting courses provide attendees an opportunity to earn up to 35.75 AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credit(s) but will also include the self-assessment activities necessary to claim up to 15.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credit(s) towards the American Board of Surgery Continuous Certification (CC) program.

The Fellows Course is a special supplemental session designed to address the unique needs of current and prospective breast fellows.
