Why Attend
Overview
The Academic Surgical Congress is a conference designed for academic surgeons.
The ASC is a joint meeting of the two leading associations for academic surgery – The Association for Academic Surgery (AAS) and The Society of University Surgeons (SUS).
Why Attend – 2023
The Learning Lab will provide attendees, especially trainees the opportunity to experience hands-on, procedure specific learning via simulation or other inanimate modalities.
In addition, each exhibiting company is encouraged to feature a hands-on skills module, game, or quiz which will challenge attendees to successfully complete a specific task within a given time frame. The interactive challenge can range from knot tying to suturing, to simulated skills or games, each of which tests some aspect of surgical ability or knowledge.
Why Exhibit – 2023
More than 2,000 academic surgeons from a breadth of disciplines will participate. Exhibitors will get an opportunity to showcase their products and services to a target audience.
Organizer
The Association for Academic Surgery (AAS) was founded in 1966 and has grown significantly over the years being widely recognized as an inclusive surgical organization with over 4,000 members.
The mission of the AAS is to inspire and develop young academic surgeons.
