About The SOA
With roots dating back to 1889, the Society of Actuaries (SOA) is the world’s largest actuarial professional organization with more than 30,000 actuaries as members.
Our Mission
Through education and research, the SOA advances actuaries as leaders in measuring and managing risk to improve financial outcomes for individuals, organizations, and the public.
Our Vision
Actuaries are highly sought-after professionals who develop and communicate solutions for complex financial issues.
Meeting Sponsorship, Advertising & Partnerships
The Society of Actuaries (SOA) is the largest global association for actuaries, serving more than 30,000 members and the global public. If you'd like to engage with actuarial experts and put your company at the forefront of the profession, we have many ways for you to get noticed. Tap into the world of measurement and management of risk by becoming an SOA sponsor/partner or advertising in SOA's flagship publication, The Actuary.
The SOA introduced the 2017-2021 Strategic Plan at the 2016 SOA Annual Meeting & Exhibit in Las Vegas. The strategic plan focuses the SOA's initiatives and investment of resources to meet our stakeholders' needs. The plan guides the organization from 2017 through 2021.
Sponsorship Opportunities
The SOA organizes more than 40 in-person events each year, including four major meetings that attract hundreds of senior-level attendees at each event:
Life & Annuity Symposium
Health Meeting
Valuation Actuary Symposium
SOA Annual Meeting & Exhibit
Event Sponsorship: If you’re interested in only sponsoring a particular event, you may wish to consider a specific event sponsorship. Potential sponsorship opportunities include session speakers, Wi-Fi, hotel keycards and more.
The Supplemental Health, DI & LTC Conference provides a unique opportunity to consider a cross-functional view of supplemental health products, including accident insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity, as well as individual disability insurance and long-term care standalone and combination products.
With a variety of sessions on pricing/product design, filing, underwriting, claims and more, as well as separate tracks for each product, attendees can choose to explore one product from end-to-end or consider one function across multiple products.
Developed by LIMRA, LOMA, and the Society of Actuaries, this event provides the opportunity to network with peers, share ideas and experiences, and learn from experts within the supplemental health, individual disability and long-term care industries.
