Why Attend
Join over 400 HR and business professionals at the two-day event that gives you the chance to advance your career through both personal connections and educational programs! And what is education if not an aim to cultivate professionals, enabling them to reach their ultimate potential? Nobody knows more about this process than Dr. Mae C. Jemison, who broke more than the sound barrier in 1992 when she climbed aboard the space shuttle Endeavour and became the first woman of color to travel into space—she made history! As the 2016 Symposium keynote speaker, Dr. Jemison will share her experiences and teach us how to reach our true potential.
In addition to our keynote Dr. Mae Jemison, we are honored to have “floating CEO,” hero of the high seas, author and inspiration for a hit movie, Captain Richard Phillips to address regional HR Leaders for our closing session! Captain Phillips will share his heroic story of extraordinary international drama that took place when his ship and crew were hijacked by Somali pirates. His story of survival and leadership is based on the importance of leadership and teamwork, combined with a belief in the power and potential of yourself and your team.
This much anticipated event is full of surprises, giveaways, opportunities to connect with other HR professionals, access to dynamic speakers and experts in the field, plus.. Takeaways that you can apply to your job the very next day! Closing speaker, session speakers and topics will be announced soon. Sponsorships available. HRCI & SHRM Credits pending. Register today!
